Pilot it, and ask any vendor the same ten questions.

A pilot is the fastest way to know. The buyer's guide works for any vendor you are comparing, including us.

Design partner pilot

A small pilot with your real providers and a team you choose.

SynapBridge is in private preview with design partners. A pilot connects the providers you already pay for with your own keys, applies a first policy, and shows spend and decisions for one team. Time to first value predicts whether a pilot works, so we start there.

1

Scope

Pick one team and the providers they use. Agree what success looks like, in writing, before we start.

2

Connect

Add your own keys, choose who can use each provider and apply a first policy. Start in simulation before enforcing.

3

Review

Look at the ledger, the decisions and the audit record with finance and security. Decide together what to keep.

What a pilot is not. It is not a customer reference, a certification or a production commitment. Pilot terms are agreed in writing first, and we publish a design partner story only with written approval. Evaluations that involve health information use synthetic or de-identified data.

Buyer's guide

Ten questions to ask any AI governance vendor.

1. What does it cover, and what does it not?

Ask for the boundary in writing: which requests, which tools, which agents. Usage outside the platform is usually out of scope.

2. Does policy run on the live request, or only on documents?

A control that only documents a policy cannot stop a request. Ask to see a request stopped, with the reason.

3. How does detection work, and what does it miss?

Pattern-based detection finds known patterns. Ask for the limits, not only the catch rate.

4. Whose keys and contracts are used?

Using your own provider keys keeps your discounts and your relationship with each vendor.

5. How is spend attributed, and what happens at a cap?

Ask whether a cap is a check at request time or a hard stop, and under which conditions it can fail open.

6. Can you test a policy before enforcing it?

Ask to see a proposed rule replayed on past events, and ask which parts of a policy act on live requests today.

7. What is the audit record, and where can it go?

Ask what each record contains, how it is searched and whether it streams to your SIEM.

8. How are customers kept apart?

Ask for the isolation approach and how it is tested, not a slogan.

9. What is verified, in progress and planned?

Ask for a status table with linked reports. No badge should stand in for a report.

10. What does a pilot need from us, and what do we keep if we stop?

Ask about exports, data deletion and who holds the keys.
